Fork Real Café Board of Directors
Our Board of Directors is made up of incredible individuals in the Black Hills area dedicated to strengthening our community.
There’s an age-old adage that says “it takes a village” to do something great. We’ve seen evidence of that in so much of what we do here at Fork Real Café—from our volunteers at the restaurant to our dedicated board of directors. As a 501 c)3 nonprofit organization, we are obligated to establish a governing board of leaders to help guide the development of our goals and overall mission. However, we do not feel “obligated” in the least to say that we are incredibly grateful for this group of talented professionals that give their times and skillset to improve and guide Fork Real Café to excellence.
The duties of our board of directors include administrative items like overseeing financial health of the organization, maintaining notice documents of meetings and important conversations, as well as providing a check and balance to decisions made for the organization. However, their input means more than the visible admin tasks at hand. These individuals pictured not only act as Fork Real Café’s cheerleaders and advocates, but offer the wisdom they have gained from their own individual success to seeing the restaurant, and the mission we are here to see play out, succeed, too.
To each of our board directors—thank you! Thank you for your hard work and dedication to creating a space for real people to enjoy real food and real conversation. We couldn’t do this without you!
