Rapid City Council met tonight and presented the Sustainability Award for the month to Fork Real Community Cafe. These awards recognize projects that contribute to the viability of the community and its economy. Fork Real is a non-profit “pay what you can” community cafe, offering fresh farm-to-table meals with a variety of options to pay. Options to pay include paying the value of your food with cash, pay it forward by paying for the customers behind you, or volunteering your time back to the cafe for the meal.
